    Photographed yesterday morning on the old pilings at the Keystone Ferry Dock on Whidbey
    Island, Wa.
    1D MKIII 300/2.8 IS + 2X TC
    1/800s f/5.6 at 600.0mm iso800 -1/3 ec

    what a beautiful bg and "fat" cormie Bonnie.
    Wish that rascal would have raised his head a wee bit....the wing hues blend nicely with bg too

    Thanks, Dave. It did raise its head, but the light was changing so fast--and the rich colors faded in the next couple of frames.

    Composition is good with nice details and color. I guess if I could wish for anything it would be head raise, stretch, or some other behavior. It is nice as is....and we all know that the birds sometimes just don't cooperate.
