    Default Mallard in the Mirror

    Attached Images Attached Images

Taken this morning at the SJWS, Irvine, CA.

    Canon 7D with the 400mm f/5.6. Manual at f/9; 1/1600sec; ISO 800.

I'm thinking the plant below the tail (and the OOF twig above the tail) should be cloned out.

    Thanks for looking,

    John

Yea I would also clone them out. Also possibly add a bit of canvas on top & bottom and a larger amount again to the right to creat a horizontal. EXP looks good and I like the effect on the water.

    John:

Excellent exposure, very good reflection. Yes to cleaning up the water a bit.
In a perfect world it would have been nice for him to be in his full alternate plumage to give you a bit more colorful head.
I agree with Martin about the room. It is nice to have equal canvas top and bottom on a strong reflection image such as this.

    Cheers

    Randy
