Hi Layton, I find these guys awesome characters, with a good sense of humour, at times.

Can you tell me what the red, yellow & green reflection lines are, are they from from moored boats? I like the colour in the ripples echoing I guess, early evening? Personally I might loose a little off the top, giving less to the coloured stripes, thus giving more emphasising to the otter. Be useful to know where they go, and if possible, go for a more lower POV next time, almost at water level?;)

I made this photo from an elevated gravel roadbed. The Otter momentarily appeared in a small opening, surrounded with Pickerelweed. The dying weed made the reflection.

    Steve,

Viera Wetlands is the final phase of a waste water treatment facility. The water is moved between different cells (ponds) to remove chemicals using various types of plants which in this case are the source of the reflections. Ultimately it is released back into the environment. No boats here.

Layton, Soft light really helped you here. Good to see you posting.

Layton - nice image. I might crop a little from the top to remove the bright yellow oval in the reflection (or you could clone it out).

    Rachel
