Nice shot Gerrie - I love the pose with the feet visible - coming in for a landing? Nice highlight details in the feathers - exposure looks spot on.

I have tried for years to get a shot anywhere near as good as this, I am now going to find out where and how far Mankwe is.

    Magnificent

Lovely posture and perfect exposure! I notice some "jagging" in the background. Is it a large crop?

Nice one Gerrie, techs looks good. I like the feet also and the position of the tail. Tack sharp, nice bg, maybe a tad more canvas on the right. I WANT ONE ;);)

Great hovering posture Gerrie, and overall well exposed. I like the comp too.

One of the best king fishers I have seen. Fantastic pose and great background. Softlight added a lot. Wonderful job.

Thank you for viewing & commenting everyone. It is much appreciated. Don't know what went wrong with the BG Chris. I processed two copies & the other one does not have the "jagging", & no, this is not a big crop.
