    No Hawks showed up yesterday, so I played with the Swallows.

    Having tried on many occasions to get in-flight shots of swallows, I really appreciate how difficult this shot probably was to get. Great pose and wicked sharp focus (and better depth of field than I would have expected for f4.5). Well done.

    Lovely picture. Very difficult to photograph, I know that I tried a few times.

    Amazing capture Alan

    May I ask what kind of metering you were using !?

    I have spent many hours trying to capture Swallows in flight and will no doubt spend any more ...

    Hey Amano, I was using Nikon's Matrix metering. Thanks.
