    Default Bald Eagle

Photographed this bird yesterday up on Whidbey Island in Washington State. A storm was coming in and the wind was blowing about 35 mph. I could not get out of the car it was so blustery, so this was handheld from the car window.
I have tried cloning out the oof grasses and trying to clone the log--but in the end I have opted for the original image as I think it is a better composition with the grasses.

I don't mind the log, Bonnie, nor the grasses, but I would definitely get some of it off. No need for such a wide foreground, it detracts rather than add, in my opinion. You are lucky to have Baldies close to you :) Great exposure.

Nice find and details. I would go for a tighter crop.
