It has been raining here recently; this is from a week ago in the AM. I liked the look of the fuzzy head-neck area. Does this indicate a young or an adult coot or what? I used a large crop here, but very little other PP.

Wendell, it looks like a juvie with the fluffy head. Althouh a large crop, I would still run some NR on the BG.

Love the fuzzy head. I don't think I've ever seen a Coot looking that fluffy. Tough to get detail in blacks and whites on a Coot, but on my screen they both look pretty good. Large crop noted. Love the eye and expression.

As presented the head shot would be nice but your lack of detail hurts the image as its very "Soft"
