    Default Snow Monkey Relaxing

I'm just back from a long trip. One week in Japan and 2 1/2 in India. While in Japan I went to the site where the Snow Monkeys (Japanese Macaques) reside. It was quite a trip just getting there with three different train rides, two bus rides, and then a one hour hike (I'm 58 and had three knee surgeries) uphill on ice in a snow storm. But, boy was it fun!!! The monkeys are wonderful and worth the pain.

Sweet, Steve, I can only hope to see this one day.
I would darken the corners a little bit to add emphasis to the face.
    Something like this:

Nice image. A bit bright but probably accurate to the surroundings. The fingers draw my eye a bit once noticed. This pic makes me thinnk of a cover shot for the monkey version of Teen Beat magazine. "Mr. Snowmonkey enjoys making snowballs, mutual grooming, and long, leisurely soaks in the local hot springs. He hopes to one day meet Ms. Right and start a family." :)

The facial expression is fantastic! Fabs' repost looks better IMO.

A very nice image here.. Fabs repost works well.... A bit of a crop on the right would get the eyes out of the center.

Super eye contact and emotion shown in this image. I also feel a crop on the right would strengthen the image by placing the eyes a little more off center. A wonderful image, definitely "worth the pain".

The emtional appeal of this image speaks volumes. I think I would have crawled to see them. Excellent eye contact.

WOW what an image and face. Great eye contact, I like the way Fabs darkened it, makes it stand out more. Have never seen these guys and would certainly love to one day.

The eyes are great! Also like the close intimate view and low angle.
