Applied a fractilus sketch in black and white - Masked out the eye and painted back in the beak colours with the art history brush.
The back and white seemed to work well seeing bird was mainly those colours anyway.

    Comments appreciated :)

Lance, The fract sketch look is very nicely done. The face is wonderful! I like the white BG. Nice pose, head angle and open mouth.

I absolutely love this, the bird, the head angle with open beak, and the effect. Love the high key look. You might opt to lose the darker spotting in the upper corners. When you tilt the screen, there is a large halo around the tail. What is the species name?

Thanks Artie - Litte Pied Cormorant (Phalacrocorax melanoleucos)

Did not see the halo until tilting the screen will have to clean that up along with the dark dots (All from the Frac filter).

Hey Lance, very nice frac job! Love the sketched look and the slight bit of color. If it were mine I would probably clean up the edges around the bill. Great to see you posting here!

Beautiful composition, Lance. Love the face with the open bill. The effect on the black very nice. This really stands out with the hk look. TFS.

Lance, I love the pose and the effect you've gotten with the b&w fract filter. The color on the beak and mouth really makes this special.:)
