    Default Snail Kite Lift Off

This male Snail Kite was photographed this Spring aboard friend Mike Tracy's pontoon boat out on Lake Toho. It was originally a horizontal capture, but I felt the vertical crop worked better with the wing pose.

Marina, this is fantastic. Terrific pose. Love the dangling legs, those awesome talons and the upright wings. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Fantastic photo! Too bad the wings are slightly in motion. However, great capture of the head!

Gorgeous light, lift off , inclusion of habitat and techs. I personally would like more room on the right.

Great wing position, good sharpness, and nice light. I'd like a bit more room on top and on the right.

Great show of the extended wing Marina, and showing good feather detail too. Overall sharp, and I like the BG.
