    Normally I wouldn't display this but I thought it was cute enough to share.

    25% of the original frame even though they were perhaps only 30' from my kayak...these little beauties are tiny.

    Nikon D300s, 300 f4 AFS, TC14EII, ISO 500, f8, 1/630, NearUniWB preset, CW metering, -.3EV

    They are really cute as a button, Jim. The green BG is just killer. Love how close they are to one another and how relaxed they appear. I think I would remove the extra catchlight from the rear chick. Needs a little bit of CCW rotation. I love the comp as presented but wonder whether you tried putting the chicks either a little higher or a little lower in the frame to see if you found it more appealing.

    I agree with Marina 100%. Great low angle and water color. Good job getting them both in the same plane of focus. I would lose the second catchlight on the near bird's eye.

    Yes to cuteness and some CCW rotation. The image looks a tad over-sharpened as presented. Good to see you posting again.
