    Hey Richard,
    I love the composition of these little guys. When you post please include the photo information so that we can better assist you. Your background is a bit hot. Did you use matrix metering? Perhaps switching to spot on the little guys face might have made the difference, possibly also the position of the sun from behind you would be better. I like the composition.

    You did fairly well with the difficult backlit conditions. Not much more you could have done with the way the animals were facing. Did you use flash here? later and love, artie

    Do you know how to check the EXIF data? With the eye highlights on the shaded side it looks very much as if flash was used? Were you the only one there?

    No I dont know how to check it. I was the only one there but I see what you mean.
