Default I Dream Of the GRAIL....

    Hi

Since this is dream week...I thought I'd include this image..everything you see here I have dreamt about....sometimes awake, while wandering around the Louisianna Swamps and sometimes asleep, marooned on an island with only this bird...:p.
    Created totally in PS4.
Anyone, who is a birder, lister and photographer..in North America will recognize the bird.
Getting this bird image would be like winning the lottery....lolol..all I'd want is a photograph.

Oh..Had to add for those of you, that are not familiar...you know who you are...:D..its a a Nikon Viewfinder

Very creative...the legendary Ivory Billed WP.......nicely done. Don't need the rule of thirds on this one!!!

PS...don't let anyone see the geo-tagging data!

So, somewhere in the hypothalamus region, or am I aiming too low again? :D Love your thinking here Paul. For me it would be a Mk IV viewfinder, whatever that looks like, looking at anything at all... What is this "Nikon" of which you speak? :p

Nice image and application, Paul. Nice PP.

Just one comment. Given the subject you can be excused, but it does look like all the extra Nikon guide marks deceived you. It could use some CCW rotation ... I think! ;) Maybe a Canon would hve served you better for this image! ;) :D

Thanks Artie, viewfinder was totally fabricated using CS4 (using my D700 as example).

The Ivory-Billed Woodpecker was masked and copied into the image of the shorline of a Point Pelee...It was taken at the Charleston Museum by me, using my D300 this past year, the original is below...

As I've explained before..I am trying to get an image (taken by me, anywhere in the world), of every bird in my 1963 "Golden Guide to Birds", my first birdbook. Each image I have, shows date and place of image capture...

Five birds are believed extinct, so only way I can get an image is by photographing museum specimens......unless I get lucky and find a Bachmans Warbler, Ivory-Billed Woodpecker, Eskimo Curlew, Dusky Seaside Sparrow and I know there's one more I am forgetting...museum specimens, it'll have to be..at least for now
