    Default Gulls tongue

I was on Sanibel Beach this past Saturday, and this guy must of been hot. He kept sticking out his tongue. He stayed around our chairs just waiting for a snack to drop, and while waiting, kept chasing away the other gulls.
Data-used my Sony A700 with my Sigma 50-500mm lens. ISO 400, f/6.3, 1/2500, 500mm. Thanks for looking, John

    John:

I like the composition, open bill/tongue, sharpness.

The light was contrasty, and the light angle worked against you a bit here, as the face is in the shadow.
You might consider a mild reverse S curve to soften the contrast a bit, and also a bit of recovery work on the whites on the crown and left side of his breast (his left side)

    Cheers

    Randy

Randy has said it all. A pity about the shadow on the head, especially the eye - a catchlight would have been great!!
