This image was taken in Florida a couple of years ago. I was shooting JPEGs only at the time. I added a little canvas to this one. It was originally shot horizontally. All C&Cs are appreciated.

I like this a lot Jim. Very nice reflection. I would give it a slight lightening of the eye and also maybe on the reflection.

Hi, Jim. I like the vertical crop on this one. The reflection works very well for me!

    Jim,

Very nice pose, HA is good, exposure and sharpness spot on !! Can you elaborate how you added canvas? The reason I ask is because the bottom of the birds body in the reflection looks cut off with a straight line.

Joel I added canvas using PS. I went under image and increased canvas size then filled the area(small) with the cloning tool. The flat spot in the reflection is in the original and is due to a ripple. You can also see straight lines in the bill and body area of the reflection as well. Thanks for the comment.

I like what the other commenters had to say. One thing I noticed is that you have a little more negative space at the top of the frame as compared to the bottom - it's no big deal but I like them to be even when the reflection is so perfect as in this case. It makes the image feel more balanced to me. I also really like the ripples in the reflection - very nice!

I really like this image, and feel there is not much to add to the comments above.

Nice one - covered by the comments above - agree with Jules re a slight crop from the top.

Super sharp, stunning image. This is just personal preference but I like the slightly more room at the top than the bottom in this case. There are 3 small dark spots on the water that you could clean up.

Agree super sharp and I also vote to keep a little more room at the top rather than even.
