    In camera I used a flash on this hummingbird in near darkness, capturing the glittering breast and head feathers and almost no BG. In PS I further reduced the BG with curves, then added nearly 100% saturation to the glittering parts and adjusted the hue, resulting in this vivid dream-bird :).

    Nice image and application, Nancy.

    Like the bright colors. I might have cropped it tighter as a vertical, but ... ;) :D

    Nancy, this is very cool and reminds me of the days of black light posters! You have a nice chiaroscuro look going as well. As for the crop, I think a little less black on the left would be cool. Very nice!

    Nancy, I think this is great! Fun and colorful. I agree w/ Mark regarding a vertical crop. I see a couple of artifacts in the BG I'd clean up if it were mine. Nicely done:)

    I like the bold colors and "glitzy" look! Almost like sequins.
