    Last week I found this cormorant alone and drying out, a rather common pose. Minimal crop and PP in LR3.

    A very nice pose with a wonderful look back. I like the ripples.
    A lower angle would make it stronger, the light seems to be a bit harsh.

    The light looks a bit harsh but you do have a nice pose and head angle. I think you may wish to sharpen the bird's head just a tad more. Critical focus appears to be on its feathers rather than the birds head. The water is a pretty BG>

    I agree with the above comments, and in addition might tone down the glare on the orange bill a tad.
