    40D. 400f5.6L wide-open. iso 320. 1/2500s. evaluative metering with exp. comp -1.

    I did get one where the duck is fully in the orange but HA was bad.

    Kaus, the sun's reflection running through the frame makes this IMHO. I can also see various comp in this too. Im thinking of either the duck at the top ( with the refelection going all the way down, or the other way around, with the duck at the bottom, with the reflection running up the frame. Just a thought. ;)

    I really like the temperature of this. Agree with exploring various crops but it's also fine as is.

    This is so beautiful. the path of light towards the duck works very well.
    I think it needs a bit of CCW rotation.

    Very nice! The bright band of reflection down the middle does an excellent job carrying the eye down the entire length of the image. I have mixed feelings about the cropping; the bird works well positioned off center but I think the effect would be enhanced if the bird was lower in the frame. Great job, thanks for sharing!

    This is great - Stu said it all. Personally, I would take a bit off the top, but as you can see everybody has had mixed opinions on this, so it is what works for you!!
