    Default Dreamscape - Canyon walls

I've never had a chance to go to the Grand Canyon, Utah, etc. (but I sure hope to:)). This is how I dream a canyon would look with a shear cliff and different colored rocks. Actually,
it's a stump in my yard. I had an unhealthy tree cut down and the inside was hollow. As it
has deteriorated I noticed that it looked a lot like a canyon. I used Topaz filter, mild color pop,
Portrait Smooth and Simplify Buzz Sim for some added color.

    Thanks for looking:)

Hey, Cheryl - This is a wonderful canyon! Great simulation with filters, rock toning and perspective. Nice work! :)

Cheryl, I have been to Grand Canyon and I think this image makes an excellent substitute - especially for being so close to home! You did a great job of re-creating the look, and if you replaced the "woody" texture on the top surface with a "rocky" texture the look would be complete. Good thinking and use of filters!

    Cheryl,

Greetings. Hey, that's really cool... the canyon has almost a wood like character to it... wait... it is wood... hmm, still looks like a canyon that has a wood-like character to it :D

    Good work...

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

    Nice image and application, Cheryl.

Haven't been to the north rim yet, but the Arizona side is similar in spots! Other areas are more vertical!!! ;)

Your vision worked well though, using a tree stump.

Cheryl, Very inventive and original. I like the way you processed this one. As soon as I saw the first pane I immediately thought a slight clean up crop-you beat me to it! Nice work!!:)

This is excellent, Cheryl. Very much like the canyon and shadows provide great depth here. I love the wood patterns. TFS.
