    The black "squiggly" line is the gut and the darker area to the left of the squiggle is filled with feathers!

    Hi Chantelle. Welcome to Macro! I was going to ask you to include more information about how you made this image (please see the "sticky" at the top of this forum for a list of items to include), but Jules beat me to it. :) In the meantime, I would suggest cleaning up the background by cloning all the little bits of debris around your louse.
