    The Selous Game Reserve has what is claimed as the largest population of Wild Dog in Africa, taking into account the reserve is the Size of Switzerland finding is not always easy, this tome we were lucky:)

    The photographic possibilities were poor as they were mostly asleep in shade.

    Taken in Selous Game Reserve, 28th August 2010.

    I find this picture to be very well composed. We get an up-close look at this animal, and see his behavior as well. Your BG works beautifully.

    Ken - I like the comp too, good detail and sharpness. I had trouble photographing wild dogs in the shade in South Africa. Glad this one woke up for you.

    Good detail Ken, and the colours look good. Im glad you included all of the leg for the scratch, with space to look into. If anything, I would maybe tone down the BG a tad.
