    Default Elk Silhouette

Taken in rather harsh morning light. I wanted this shot in the early morning golden light but he decided to cross an hour and a half later. I like the separation I got of his silhouette. Digital rebel straight shot with a slight crop top and right. I removed some of the highlights in the water behind the elk and was wondering if I should remove all or leave more of the ones I cloned out?
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated,

This looks like a straight shot to me and not "out of the box". It is nice and would be nice in animals. Ontheother hand, I do take some flights of fancy with this forum. IT is a nice shot. The highlights are fine with me. IF I were you, I would make a copy of the image with the water highlights taken out and see which I preferred. Good work.

Nice, I sort of like the water reflections, they give pop to the image.
As a last minute inspiration, I decided to add a Nik Color Efex 3.0 to the image and see how it looked. Hope you like as another version.

OK...............since I did a B&W in landscapes.........I decided to do an over the top one in a repost and get rid of all color........since it was almost a B&W anyway with a filter thrown in for good measure.
