A lot of these warblers have been going through here the past two weeks. This pic was taken under the shade of the canopy.

Nice colors and sharp. I love the BG and the fact the branch looks like its coming out of the photo (3D effect).

Hey Rick! I love the subdued lighting and the ruby area behind the tail. Awesome sharpness as presented, the eye is crystal clear. Neat perch, but I wish it wasn't so straight! There is a very faint line parallel to the far leg that may suggest a bit of PP work done in that area...if not, it still would be worth patching it out just to appease those who scrutinize those types of things (like me!)

We haven't crossed paths since early in the summer (did those Shovelers images turn out nice?)...hopefully we'll bump into each other soon enough!

Lovely bird, surprisingly well lit given no flash. I love the way it glows against the BG. Excellent sharpness.

That's a sweet little bird you captured. Sharpness is excellent. I like how the bird stands out against the dark background, but I find the red spot to be a bit distracting. I absolutely love the pose.

Lovely contrasting colours on the little guy, and overall nice and sharp. Those yellow's really stand out against the darker BG.

I like how the bird stand out against the BG. I also like the pose and sharpness. Maybe my monitor calibration is off, but it seems to me that the bird itself could be lightened a bit more maybe with some fill light? Overall I really like this, great job.:)

Sweet image. Beautiful pose and sharpness, glowing against the dark bg. I was lucky enough to see one of these beautiful little fellows on a hike yesterday along the Appalachian Trail, but he flitted from branch to branch so quickly that by the time I tried to lock my AF on him he was gone. I would have been thrilled to get a sharp, well-lit image like this one.
