While shooting ducks in a harbor at Cape Cod last winter I noticed this old rusted out winch
on a ship across the way. Since I was using a 500mm at the time I could get close enough to it. Used a modified Topaz Simplify and some other minor adj...

    Hi Dave,

Love the color and the composition. Perfect! I may be a tad picky, but I wonder about removing the hair/thread from the one sprocket that is just off of dead center.

Nothing like rusted metal parts to get a photographers eye...the colors and effect make it look like an Oil painting..nice work

Dave, this image is more appropriate here in Friends and Family. I really like the colors and your use of Simplify to bring out the textures. Interesting feature with the sprocket hole that looks like a moon...

That's fabulous, Dave! What a great abstract image with all the different shapes and angles. I'd also remove that small hair (how you saw that in the first place Andrew is beyond me!) I also think this would work well with this type of filter but then reducing it in opacity just a bit so the sharper pieces and corners of the metal maybe stood out a bit more...not that this doesn't work well as it is!
