    Hi Harry,

I like the posture of the SST. I am not sure of the BG. It is interesting in its own graphic way but it seems distracting to me with the turtle.

BTW: Ever try to rescue one of these guys from the road. I have and it takes a bit of talent and savy (long neck as demonstrated in this image and jaws that can break a finger for those that don't know). I found the best way is a towel over the turtle so they can't see you and heavy gloves.;)

Thanks for taking the time to comment Robert. I hate the BG but I never had one of these guys hold that pose before. They usually high tail it once they realize they have been spotted. I asked it ,very nicely, to move to the left where the water was clear but you know how obstinate those turtle are. ;)

    Periscope up!!

Love the open mouth almost gives a personality to what would otherwise be the worlds greatest poker face.

I agree the BG is busy but good shot of the turtle in its environment blends well with shape, color and texture of surrounding fallen vegetation.

Cool periscope, harry. The background is what it is. Amazing neck! Never seen that before.

Glad to see he's wearing his mouth guard. A very unique, neat looking image that brings to mind the scene fromthe movie "Aliens"

I agree with you there Harry. The neck position is great and the BG is what it is.

Try my method for repositioning - they are sure to try to bite you  and then you get that long neck extended.

Love the turtle, looks like some alien from Star Wars... BG as mentioned is bad.
