Default Silhouette: White Pelicans at dawn

Caught at the Circle Bar B Preserve on a hazy morning. While we were moving down the foggy track, the Pelicans began their morning move to the nearby lakes.

    Brian:

Lots of fun. Would make a great bookmark. I like the colors/patterns in the sky, varied wing positions. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it might be a composite.
I might be tempted to give a little more room all the way around, esp to the left since they are angling that way.

    Well seen!

Ditto what Randy said. Colors are beautiful....and with a different shade behind every bird, its quite intersting.

Ditto the comments above. Very interesting and artistic image. A small area of the canvas to fill in in LLC, and there is a stronger transitional line between the yellows and blues (touching the 3rd bird from the bottom) that could be smoothed out if you wish. Well done!

Very interesting image, I like the transition of the colors in the background and how the silhouette bird generally arrange from big to small from top to bottom, nice finding.

Beautiful stuff, agree about adding a touch of space to either side. Any chance of getting the same scene at sunset? The birds coming towards the camera rather than away would be outstanding.
