    Canon 5Dmk2, Canon 70-200f2.8, handheld. S/speed 1/500 at f13/0, iso 400. Focal length 80mm. Cropped from 21 to 18.8mp. Location Chitabe Camp, Okavango. 6 Aug 2010, 08h47
Processed in ACR, PS5. Lightened shadow on ele, increased contrast on lion. Cropped out back of second lion in right front of image.
This bull elephant didn't take kindly to the lion and his coalition buddy (not in this frame) and made a short run at them, causing the lions to run off a short way and find a quieter place to rest. Sun was already getting a bit high for ideal photos but it made for interesting interaction. Steve please try ignore the watermark:). All C and C welcome

Interesting capture Grant, could perhaps lose a tad off the bottom? Is there anything in the shadow areas of the ele by chance?

Is Lazarus still there guiding? if he is, ask him how to tell if it was a male or female elephant that passed on the trail :D

Grant - Nice action shot with interesting environment and a pleasing blue sky. Might consider cropping to near the base of the first small bush. Well captured.
