    Default Autumn Impressions

Name: Autumn forest reflecting in Horseshoe Lake, Parry Sound, Ontario 5684.jpg

I have been reviewing some of my previous fall color images as I am preparing to head-out next week for some shooting. Thought I would post this one from Horseshoe Lake near Parry Sound, Ontario. It was a very quiet, calm morning at the family cottage and after shooting some scenic images I started to extract some scenes with my 80-400 VR lens. I like the upside-down forest reflection and the slight movement in the lake's surface that caused some blurring of the reflection.

    Look forward to comments.

The bands of ripples add a unique texture, Andrew. Nice! Great colors and saturation. Very beautiful spot. :)

Andrew, I couldn't agree more with your self-assessment. I love the inverted reflections and I have always loved the fall colors, they are something I miss from my Indiana home! I look forward to seeing some images from your trip! Have a good one.

Beautiful reflection, Andrew. I too like the colors and the effect of the movement on the lake surface.

Andrew, Very vibrant fall display. I love the reflection and the comp. It reminds me of a water-colored painting.
