    Default Canyon Wren

These guys are extremely local up here in Canada and are only found in the Okanagan valley area. They were a real target for me on my road trip this summer as they were the last North American species of wren I needed to photograph. I hope you enjoy this one :)

Glen, this is superb. Loved the pose, perch and the shallow DOF.

Incredible singing pose and some nice flash work. Like the perch and BG. Is it my imagination or is the bird's head turned slightly away from you? The beak looks like it's pointed towards you but the eye looks like it's pointed away from you.

Cool image of this fabulous bird!
Nothing to add but great. Love the BG, rock and as mentioned by Doug the flash work seems so ''natural''.

Enjoying it very much, Glenn. Nice little fellow, love the singing pose, the perch and BG. I wound't detect the flash if it wasn't mentioned.

Would love to comment on this coveted bird but once again the photo has not downloaded to my laptop.

Glenn, congratulations on this addition to your photo collection. It's certainly a great image and I like the lichen covered perch and the singing pose.

Beautiful bird. The perch and BG work well with it. Big congrats on getting all the N.A. Wrens!
