Hi Ken, very nice croc shot. Nice light, good display of teeth, eye is wide open with good colour, good BG and the water drops add to it all. Did you have any more pixels under the croc for even more of the reflection. I would maybe crop a tiny bit from RHS to lose that cut off foot.

    Grant,

Thanks for pointing out the errant foot, the reflection below disappears into "rough" water.

Ken - really like the low perspective on this. Agree about the back foot. I also like the panoramic for this.

    Hi Ken,

Nice shot of this croc. Love the colors. Agree with the other on the hind foot. Too bad the reflection disappeared into rough water.

Thanks for all of the comments, it was great to see for the first time from a good angle and perspective a Croc returning to its realm.

    Ken,
I like the low angle of this shot. The good thing is you got the croc entering into the frame. How come such a splash? Crocs normally slide away into water. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

    Sabyasachi,

I can only presume the splash arose as it was in a hurry to escape from our little boat:)

Crocs nearly always rush for the safety of the water when approched by someting big and noisy, luckily this time we were on the water. I must confess that shooting from stable boats is my new obsession, hence my Kariba trips.

    Cheers

    Ken

As said, the angle and colours and pano crop are great - eye too. Beautiful crocodile shot and immediately clear what it is doing. The foot is slightly errant but I'd hate it to lose any of the splashes under its belly.
