I like the framing effect from the mangrove branches. I wish the tip of the bill did not get lost in the BG. The small size of the posted image makes it difficult to judge sharpness/detail. Was this image cropped significantly?
Actually, this post was partly a test to see if I could link to images in a blog that I just started. You can see the blog at http://birdsnbugs.wordpress.com/ where clicking on the picture brings up a much larger version. It appears that linking to the image only provides the small size.
In the future, I will host images posted here on a different site.
