Here is the mate of the female Spotted Pardalote I photographed yesterday morning (Sydney time) and presented here. He is more colorful and was much more obliging than his shy lady partner and was usually landing in front of me, at eye level. This image is full frame, captured this morning. Cleaned a couple of dust spots.

Akos, It is always nice to get a shot of a small bird full frame - especially nice when it's placed well in the frame as you have done here. Very nice pose and sharp head. I do wish more of the tail were in focus but... I like the BG colors. Yesterday when you posted the female I immediately thought I wonder what the male looks like-so thanks for sharing the male.:)
Hi Akos,
Thank you for showing us this beautiful little bird - great colours, sharpness and lovely feather detail make this for me. As Denise said, the BG colours are very pretty :)
Beautiful bird with great detail and a nice exposure. They must not be too shy to get full frame images at 420mm. I might tone down the bright part of the half-eaten leaf. I don't mind the shallow DOF, and I don't think you could have stopped down enough to get the entire bird in focus with this pose and this distance to subject.
