The general scenery in Ohio right at the moment:D This is the first time I've had the opportunity to make a W on W image. I wish the light wold have been better for more feather detail, don't like the yellow color of the snow UR or the wing head merge... Did use Alfred's eye enhancement Thoughts/critique please?

Looks real good Nonda !!!! Would trim a little of the bottom? or actually if you have it more room bottom and left snow looks good and enhances the image

I like the bird's pose very much and overall feel The eye came out great You can do the same for the yellow beak Select with the magic want and lighten/saturate Don't go overboard so it looks natural All the local enhancements make a difference at the end !!! Big Congrats !!!

You nailed the exposure which can be difficult in this situation. Also the eye fix worked perfectly. Good wing position.

Cool on the wing! Thanks Bob, Alfred thought the beak needed something wasn't sure how to go about that, thanks, can add snow I think.

Nice shot Nonda, the thumbnail was enough to draw me in here.....work on the few tips from Al and see what you can do to enhance in those areas.

Note that white snow will have a tendency to reflect the sky, blue sky=blue in the snow, gray sky=gray in the snow.
You have gotten a nice rendering here IMO

Hopefully I followed Alfred's instructions correctly. Did I do enough on the beak? Added about 1 inch to the left side and a bit less to the bottom..Enough?

    Thanks

Nonda, I was out getting pics of seagulls in the snow today also! I like the detail in your snow and wings better than I like my pictures. Looks great!

    Thanks Dave,Cheryl and Gus!

Gus yes we have gulls here, high count would be Nov+April, but some hang year round. I have a whole gallery of nothing but gull images I find them very fun birds to watch and photograph.
