    Haim,

    Very interesting pose on this bird, and sharp. Was the ISO a typo? and should have been 1250? If not you could have probably increased it to at least 400 and made sure of your SS. For me, the bird is a bit tight to the left and you could definitely use more space there if you have it. My major issue is with the strong shadow under the wings, however in this light (I expect the photo was taken between 1000 and 1400?) this was always going to be an issue. Did you try and do some shadow highlight work in PS? Strangely the values of the whites on the neck are not that high, but I feel detail is lacking in this area.

    The ISO is 125 it's not mistake. I have more room all around. I used only a little level on the black side and you are right about the lack details on the neck.

    I think you did well, to get wingtip to wingtip sharpness at 1/800 and 850mm, hand held. Nice open mouth, I might have left a little more room in front of the bird.. but its your vision
