    I came across this caterpillar making its cacoon. Does anyone know what kind it is? Sorry if this is wrong place to post, but wasn't sure where to go. Thanks, John

    I checked Bug Guide site below:

    there were a couple that looked like your cocoon..One was a Bagwell Moth. This a great site for Bugs...but beware there are thousands of images....

    Definitively looks like an Oiketicus kirbyi.
