    I return to photography after 6 months break. Here a White Wagtail.
    All comments welcome.

    Nikon D90, Sigma 150-500mm @ 500mm
    f8.0 @ 1/1000 SS @ ISO-250
    WB - manual

    Sweet bird and BKGR. EXP perfect. What is the BKGR? It looks like flowing brown water? Did you use flash? With the bird angled towards us a bit the head angle is a bit short of perfect; it needed to be turned a bit more towards us.

    Yikes; I almost forgot the most important item: it needs more room above the bird.

    Arthur, the background is brown water like you guess.:) No, I had no use the flash. Thanks a lot for the sugestions.

    Thanks Gabi and you are welcome. The water explains the second highlight in the eye. We do not see much brown water in these parts :) Where was the image taken? Where are you from?

    Arthur the photo was made in Romania, Piatra Neamt on a local river. The water was muddy because of to much rain before the date of photo.
