    Default Guess what!

I thought this one might work well for the theme.

Just a simple "Solarization" filter from Nik's Color Efex. I may be reaching here, but it is OOTB. This is from an old Velvia slide.

Andrew, I just love images like this. Very creative interpretation of the theme. I am guessing a tree trunk w/ vines?:) Nice job controlling the solarization.

I'm stumped, Andrew. But it was good exercise for my imagination. Thought I saw an old, bearded man fighting an entanglement... wait a minute is this some sort of Rorschach test??? ;)
Even thought about attempting to reverse-process this, but I lack the expertize. :)

Definitely a lovely hidden moth in there! Really nice work and absolutely quintessential camouflage shot. Thanks so much for sharing!

This is outstanding example of camouflage and moths are one of the best at it too...being a bug hunter is a challenge sometimes and this image shows why.:)

i would be agree before reading anyone else's comment on the image, I interpreted it as a moth sticked on tree trunk. i like this effect a lot andrew. and thanks for sharing your workflow here. it was indeed an inspiration to try :)

    Hello Everyone,

Thanks very much for comments. Myer got it right first. It is indeed a moth. An Underwing Moth on tree trunk. Towards the end of this theme I will post the original image.

Nice work, Andrew! I was able to see a moth but I'm a bug geek that hunts and records such things. I can see why some couldn't figure it out.

For some moths this isn't all that far from reality! :)
