    Default Hello from Belgium

Hi everyone, after following the forums for some time, and joining up to be able to see more threads, I've finally got around to starting to post.

I've learnt lots of tricks in the time I've been following and have certainly enjoyed the fantastic pictures.

I'll lead here with a link to an old wildlife pic, since I don't think I can post more directly yet.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

Thanks Arthur. I most like to photograph birds, but am also very interested in wildlife in general, including macro. Luckily there are several good nature reserves near me, it's just a matter of finding enough time to spend there around work (scientist) and other hobbies (sports).

Welcome, Jeff...nice to have you with us. I like the image you linked to...very nice silhouette! If you're at all nervous about posting in the "big" forums, head over to Eager To Learn (ETL) and we promise to be gentle!

Welcome Geoff. Do you like Lambics and geuzes??? I do, although they are hard to get in Canada. I'm not suggesting a beer shipment or anything like that! I had a marvelous week in Bruges a couple of years ago. Loved Belgium.

Hi John. I moved here from the UK several years ago and was immediately happy with the beer, chocolate and waffles! I tend to stick to the pils and Duvel, with the odd Trappist offering. These days whisky is my favourite tipple anyway. Your beer shipment suggestion comes up a lot. My brother always gets a christmas shipment.
