Beautiful! I would suggest to take a smidge of the top and right otherwise excellent!

Excelent. I subscribe Krijn´s comments on composition. BTW you forget to add the technical details of the image

I agree with the crop suggestion. I also see a slight green cast in the whites. Easily checked and remedied in editing s/w.

That said, lovely shot. It's got a very soft feel to it with the subtle hues in the sky. Well done.

Lovely photo David. I do not agree with above crop suggestions to me its fine as presented. Certainly don't crop from the right since the wing will be too close to the edge.

Crop wise is a mater of taste I have to go with the image as presented I like the gradient upper bg and cropping would loose it It seems to add to the mood !!! I like it a lot !!!

If you have it I would actually add a tiny bit back to the bottom as I find the cut leaves would look nicer with a clean uncut finish instead (or at the very least clone out those cut leaves). Otherwise magnificent image, the side lighting works very well here!

Thanks for the input everyone. Cropping is always very subjective. I didn't want to lose the gradient up top, so I left it a little loose all around. I'll tweak the color a bit before printing. Thanks again as the input is always appreciated.

    Regards,,,,,,David

Stunning as presented, David. I wouldn't crop at all, the gradient is part of the charm. Did you use an artistic filter for extra definition? It sort of looks unreal for a photo.

Great timing and pose. I would crop a tad off the top and add a bit to the bottom so the leaves are not clipped.

Stunning image, I wouldn't take anything off the top, maybe add a little on the bottom if you have it. I love the composition, the light & the background. Looks like a painting, beautiful.
