Beautiful! I would suggest to take a smidge of the top and right otherwise excellent!
Excelent. I subscribe Krijn´s comments on composition. BTW you forget to add the technical details of the image
Very nice capture. Love the lighting and action.
Well framed and timed, David!
I see slight green cast ...
I agree with the crop suggestion. I also see a slight green cast in the whites. Easily checked and remedied in editing s/w.
That said, lovely shot. It's got a very soft feel to it with the subtle hues in the sky. Well done.
I like crop as is David, nice comp
Wonderful pose and composition and a cool soft feel, other nits mentioned:)
Beautiful, especially the details on the bird.
Quite a beautiful image! Great light and composition and excellent sharpness.
Agree with the above posters. Very nice image for sure....
Lovely photo David. I do not agree with above crop suggestions to me its fine as presented. Certainly don't crop from the right since the wing will be too close to the edge.
Crop wise is a mater of taste I have to go with the image as presented I like the gradient upper bg and cropping would loose it It seems to add to the mood !!! I like it a lot !!!
If you have it I would actually add a tiny bit back to the bottom as I find the cut leaves would look nicer with a clean uncut finish instead (or at the very least clone out those cut leaves). Otherwise magnificent image, the side lighting works very well here!
I really like the timing,,light and the details!
Wow, that’s good. Good details and colors.
Regards
Very pleasing image. Great pose BG, perch and moment captured. Awesome!
Thanks for the input everyone. Cropping is always very subjective. I didn't want to lose the gradient up top, so I left it a little loose all around. I'll tweak the color a bit before printing. Thanks again as the input is always appreciated.
Regards,,,,,,David
Simply a gorgeous shot as posted - no nits.
Stunning as presented, David. I wouldn't crop at all, the gradient is part of the charm. Did you use an artistic filter for extra definition? It sort of looks unreal for a photo.
Great timing and pose. I would crop a tad off the top and add a bit to the bottom so the leaves are not clipped.
Stunning image, I wouldn't take anything off the top, maybe add a little on the bottom if you have it. I love the composition, the light & the background. Looks like a painting, beautiful.
this is one of the best images of white egrets !!!
the timing, exposure, sharpness and the soft light are just marvelous!
the framing is very well too.
