Captured this image over the weekend, these little plovers are extremely small, so you can imagine how thrilled I was to be able to capture the shots at pretty much close to full frame:)
Love the low angle, colours, sharpness and perfect lighting. It might be improved by removing (cloning out) the stuff behind the birds head and beak but works super well as presented:D
Oh man I love the eye and eyering colours!! Nice lowish angle, and although the reflection is not super strong it is still effective. I would only remove or tone down the dark OOF crud in front of the bill. I get the impression the image may need a very tiny bit of CW rotation?
I love this species and this image but the stuff in front of the face needs to go :)
