    I like the light and the look in the eyes. It's a little too centered for my taste. I might try cropping some from the right.

    The fact the young deer is gazing back through the majority of the frame makes the composition work for me. I agree the background grasses add a very nice touch. Perhaps his father will show up after work one day soon!
