I had the blue theme in mind, but since I took the photo Saturday and got home late I ran out of time for the weekly theme. Used gradient in Raw, Color Efex, Clean. comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Bill, This is sooo much color for you. I had to do a double take on the poster:) I like the layers of colors and this would have been perfect for the blue theme but it is still a wonderful looking image. I like the comp. w/ the extra FG and the grasses in the back add interest. This is one of those images that I can never get level- any tips on leveling a challenging image?

The problem was that leveling the shoreline would make the horizon rotated CW even more.
Used Skew tool to make both roughly horizontal. New transparent layer, placed on bottom, tr anspose: scale down to give a bit of room to work with, set up horizontal quides for shoreline and horizon, transpose-skew, moving top right handle up, flatten, crop. Needs a bit more adj, but here is what I came up with.regards~Bill

Beautiful composition, Bill. I too love the layers of colors here. I also like low angle and the light here. TFS.

Neat perspective and perfect DOF, Bill. The BG green grass has a great blur. I like the pose of the left 4 birds as it makes me wonder what they are looking at/for. Thanks for the tip on leveling. :)
