Looks like he had a rough night. I like the light, his color, expression, and the detail. I'd be tempted to crop about an 1.5 inches off the left side (as viewed). I see something that looks like maybe cloning artifact near the left side of the dark shading in the upper right. Although it is late and I could be hallucinating. Nice image.

Love the look and the lighting . The overall round shape of the head fo the lion gives a strong center of intderest however the subject is a bit centered for my taste. A vertical format would work great for this image as well.

I agree that a vertical composition will work better for this image. I don't like the yellow coloured grass/weed on the right. I also agree with Steve's comment that perhaps the lion had a rough night out. The way its hair is tossed up, vertical image will be better.

As above. I like the lion and the light, but would really like to see this as a vertical.

Cool lion! Agree with comments on it being too centered.

Very bad hair day. Must agree on it being too centered, I would also run a noise reduction on the BG, But still a awesome looking lion and great expression. Nice one.

Excellent Lion! I really like the sharpness in the lion's face and the dark features in his hair. I agree with the suggestions on the vertical format, but it is very nice as is.
