    I'm having trouble with the ID of this fall, possibly young wood warbler. The (poor) image was made at Bonaventure Island on the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula, Quebec, Canada, on 22 September 2010. Prominent features are the overall yellowish colouration, gray portions to wings and eye ring. The best I can come up with is a young female Yellow Warbler.

    I tend to agree on female Yellow Warbler.

    I agree, this looks like a first fall or hatch year female Yellow Warbler.

    Yes, I agree as well. The very blank, unmarked face and yellow-fringed greater coverts and remiges all point to this species.
