I'm glad you adjusted the image yourself Amano; that was going to be my first comment. I think the repost is larger than 200 KB and our software compressed the image, taking away a bunch of detail. You might want to adjust the file size and repost. I like the topside bank but wish for a bit more eye contact.

Yes, Doug .. it was 201Kb!!
I was wondering why it was not so sharp.
Understand what you mean about the bird's eye here!

Nice bird and image Amano. I like to see the back of this bird and the connection with the ground (by including the treeline), as per the head angle is slightly away but that's not a big problem for me as far as I can see the eye and this one is a sharp one. Repost suffered a bit.

Armano- Look forward to seeing the repost! Great to see this species. I tried lightening myself and it worked great. Also a little extra sharpening helped. The under exposure has produced some noise in the BG which you can easily remove.

The sky needs to be lighter but the bird could use some more contrast... There are no repost limits Amano. The image in Pane 2 was wrecked. As far as I know, you should get a warning and files >200kb should not be uploading.

    Hi There

Its' taken a bit of time to get around to reposting this ... but here it is!

Try to do as much a I can in RAW but Photoshop is always good for final tweaks particularly when there are questions over the resizing.

Have played around with contrast etc making the bird appear a bit darker and increasing the blue saturation.

I rather like the composition in inherent in the bird .. its' posture is almost awkward which says something about this large bone-eating raptor.

    Cheers

    Amano
