The car is a perfect hide to capture birds that arent skittish. This guy was pretty close to my passenger window, and managed to get quite a few of him. This was taken in a small nature reserve close to my house. I liked the BG colours.

Beautiful sharp details and lovely BG colors. I like the pose and both feet showing wrapped around the perch.

Love the singing pose! Sharpness is excellent, and the BG is very nice.

Very nice one Stuart. There seems to be a good relation between the name of the bird and the dusty beak! As you, I also like the BG and singing pose. Would have liked to see more details on the rump, may be fill flash as an option?

Excellent capture,Stu.Also like the varying ,smooth bg,which complements the bird.Maybe increase brightness slightly to bring out more detail in darker areas ?

Agree that the shadows could be pulled up a bit. Super sharp, awesome BG!! I feel like the perch is so small that the bird looks like its perched in mid air so perhaps adding a bit more of the perch below the bird might help that. Others may disagree.:o

Overall very beautiful image. I agree with opening up the darker areas, and a slightly looser crop with more perch showing is certainly a viable option. Well done Stuart!
