I took this photo at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. I was about 40 ft from it but it was mostly snoozing and people were fishing even closer to it than I was! Pixel Bender, Topaz Clean, Topaz Adjust, a blue texture.

Judy, You did a great job combining the filters. It looks like it's smiling! The blue fits the theme nicely and I like your composition.:)

    Nice image and application, Judy.

Don't take it for granted that he is snoozing. He may just be waiting for someone to catch a dinner for him! ;)

Like the effects of your filter work on this.

Thanks Denise and Dave. I know two "idiot" photographers who got up to about 15 feet from the gators and down on their knees to get the "ultimate closeup". They are lucky they didn't end up as dinner!

A perfect subject for the effects you used, the gator's textures really come out.

Nice filters that you chose, Judy. He looks like he's chuckling about how stupid the people on their knees were:)

Neat filter application, Judy! I also like the shadow detail (teeth!) and the evenness of the exposure throughout the image. Really makes the blue believable. :)
