    It's that time of year again. My backyard is full of fluttering monarchs who are feeding on their way back down to Mexico. I found this one taking a break in the sun along my fenceline yesterday.

    Butterfly prison? :D

    It's still early for my area although a few are passing through. I think I've got at least 2 weeks before the swarm arrives.

    Denise, I almost forget about that one!

    Ken, that's too funny...butterfly prison. This one just happened to land between my fence and the neighbors' where they intersect. Maybe it's an insect intersection??? hahahahaha:D

    I must be tired because this struck my funnybone and every time I think about it I start laughing again! I admit it's cute but honestly it shouldn't be LOL funny. :D

    Amazing to see a butterfly sitting still. They rarely do around here!
