Good comp and setting...the blades of grass add a nice touch although I'd probably get rid of the thickest OOF one. Light angle could have been a bit better overal but an adequate HA, with resulting light hitting it nicely, saved the day. In a perfect world the sandpiper wold have stood higher on the beautiful perch to give us a glimpse of the feet.
Is this an original vertical, or cropped from horizontal?
thanks daniel ,, yets i have a thought of that but as it was taken from a watching point as there were many waders wading arround including some Ibises and stilts and lapwings..
The only problem with this place is its a waste pond of an acid factory.. sewage kind of stuff and would be difficult to venture into that..
hope soone will get them on my actual birding ground soon once water level goes down.
